About
Welcome to Tubie Doodles!
Tubie Doodles was created in 2017 by a mum to a little girl who needed assistance from an NG tube from when she was born and a NPA for 10 months. She then got a PEG in 2019 which was changed for a mickey button in 2021 and now she currently has a mini button.
Having older children at home the tube was new and confusing to them and we wanted a way to make it more acceptable and less clinical to them.
After initial samples on our daughter we soon realised that our older children's friends started interacting with our daughter more and would purposely come over to see what 'picture' she had on her face. They were often slightly disappointed to find that sometimes she had the same one for days!
The children would see past the tube and would love the bright, colourful designs and coment on them rather than her medical tubes.
We then took to social media and found some amazing testers who were fully supportive of our vision. After realizing there wasnt a 'one size fits all' we realised we needed to offer a range of sizes and different shapes to cater for all.
Every parent will tape differently so why should our stickers not reflect that. Our designs come with a selection of options to give you the versatility you need.
We welcome any custom requests or suggestions for new designs or sticker uses.
We have flyers available should any medical professionals/ establishments wish to have some to distribute or please email me at tubiedoodles@gmail.com if you would like me to provide you with a sample pack.
We hope you love our products as much as we do

FAQ's
What are the stickers made from?
They are made using hypoallergenic medical retention tape and are latex free. Our tape is very soft and pliable and out of the tapes we trialled this was the one that caused the least irritation and worked well with the contours of the body.
Will the design come off?
No the process to make the stickers means that the design stays on the tape even if it gets wet. The tape is not waterproof but holds up well against water. Alot of parents have said they've covered the stickers with waterproof clear tape to make them more waterproof.
Can we have our own designs?
Short answer is YES! There is an option for you to have your own designs on the tape. If you cannot locate that option please email us. Unfortunately we cannot recreate any licenced designs due to copyright regulations. We know children love their favourite characters but the people who create them want their work protected, and rightly so, and no one can do this without their permission. I have an email from Disney (which I have shared on social media) saying that they would not give permission for their images linked to anything medical - unfortunately. We are a law abiding business so please do not be offended if we refuse.
What tubes do the stickers cover?
These have been tested on various medical tubes such as NG, NJ, NPA, oxygen cannulas, nasal trumpets, SPC, PEG tubes, broviac and PICC lines. We have also made big stickers for an ACE.
How do we take the tape off?
We would recommend using a medical adhesive remover, such as Appeal wipes, to gently remove the tape from the skin.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of the items we do not accept returns unless there is a fault with the product due to manufacturing process and photographic proof is required. All personalised items require the purchaser to approve the design prior to it being made. Once the design has been agreed and made changes cannot be rectified.
Turnaround
Due to the individual nature of orders items are made individually to order requirements and do not currently have the space to store everything in every style/option. We state 2
weeks especially for pad orders due to them being time intensive. Sometimes this can be longer as I myself have a tube fed child who recently had surgery.
